I want to share with you my thoughts and feelings at an unexpected seriously bad review received by a fellow RRBC reviewer. I say unexpected as this book my first novel had received so many four and five star reviews in the past. My initial reaction was one of shock and horror, how could anyone be so mean. It was my first attempt at a novel and although the person reviewing felt the work had not received any editing, in fact it had. Feeling wounded and hurt I jotted off a couple of angry emails to Senior RRBC personnel extolling my angst and disappointment. The responses were tough and to the point,however they made me stop and re- think the situation. Wise advise has led me to have my next novel re-evaluated to ensure that past errors on my part are not repeated.
